- Use his preset on bass
- Build up the drums - add in a raw sample, then add some nice tight sequence on top like the minimal electribe stuff
- Sweelys method of reverb on drums. Bring them together
- Melody's can be so simple. If you really want one, just copy the bass

- muzzy is good for samples and getting anything on beatport in 320 loading.... also really good for getting plugins but need to crack them yourself but its possible

- he thought those sample market ones did not help him when it came to sending to labels
- start the kick -10db
- sort the 90s sample cds
- he used to drum bus all of it but now just does it indivually
- tambriane instead of short hihat for shaker bit
- using gate in sampler of drum rack to add vartions. change the notes slightly to help create that
- reverse all bits of what could be a drop/change
- reverse kick to add even more bang to the switch up
- play around remove bits which could be removed
- diva plugin and tromel
- start whatever way you want. just dont get bored
- anything below 50k just cut it you dont need it
- dont worry about the key of the kick
- drums can be complicated. you just need to combine them as much as possible
- small bits of interest are key to my kinda sound
- use timeless for more interst on a melody
- add reverb to loads
- add interst to the kick by adding a double on one and none on end
- auto pan a lot
- add varation using delays etc
- always just use the scale thing
